Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1, 2001 in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who immigrated into USA in 1990. United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker in New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a former student of the same high school. Beetz was a graduate of LaGuardia in 2007 was a student at Skidmore College and studied French. Beetz immediately began auditioning after school and was able to land the part in the role of Van on the set of Atlanta. Beetz is a native of Berlin and was the daughter of an ethnically mixed German father, as well as an African American Mother. They both grew up within New York. Zazie has been performing in theatres in the community and on stage in New York since her childhood. Zazie discovered that she liked acting when she was at the school. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dancing skills paid off. In 2010 the dancer and actress was finally offered her breakthrough role when she was cast in the role of Rocky Blue in the show "Shake it Up," with her co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya was just 11 at the time, while in a trip for the family her family was driving through a meat-processing plant. PEOPLE says she told them, "It was horrible to witness all the animals awaiting slaughter inside that slaughterhouse." This was not how I ate my meat! Since that time she's been following an incredibly strict vegan diet.
