Annie Liu a Professor of Computer Science at Stony Brook University. She earned obtained a Ph.D. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. Tsinghua University, M.Eng. from Peking University all in Computer Science. Annie Liu is a recipient of the Best Student Paper Award 14th International Symposium of Stabilization Security and Safety of Distributed Systems and also the State University of New York President's Award for Excellence scholarship and Creative Activities. Annie Liu is an actress from Taiwan and Hong Kong. Liu attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design Vancouver British Columbia Canada, but she left her studies at the end of the second year to pursue a career as an actor.
